Competition - Sound into words
http://butdoesitfloat.com/I-take-sounds-and-change-them-into-words
I came across a really interesting project called 'I take sounds and change them into words' which is similar to what I'm trying to achieve - Sound into a visual. Since products based on audio, I wanted to look at CD covers, and see how they communicate sound.
Using literally written music, alongside shapes and blocks of colour.

Using a renowned song and sound title related to music alongside musical instrument names. The coloured shapes too could almost represent a piano in the way they've been laid out.
