Since we opened in 1976 The NEC has been designed with the sole purpose of playing host to an incredible range of events and in that time we have not stood still – we’ve built additional halls and improved our facilities extensively (the latest being the on-going £40 million investment into venue facilities) adding to the comprehensive services consisting of on-site contractors and hotels.
Even though we are a large venue, smaller events are just as important to us and our facilities can easily be tailored to each – this approach has resulted in us hosting 50 new exhibitions over the last two years.
Our market reach is vast – we attract visitors of all ages from all across the world. There are 19.5 million people within a 90 minute drive time of The NEC’s central location, why not invite some of them along to your event?

Space:
Imagine the ultimate blank canvas. At The NEC this is exactly what we offer. This venue is as special as the event you are holding. We have 20 halls, offering 200,000 sq metres of space. There are smaller, more intimate halls (relatively speaking) from 3,700 sq metres up to our largest hall of nearly 25,000 sq metres.

Car Parking
The NEC has over 22000 car park spaces. Car park charges may apply. Visit What's On for event specific car parking prices.
If car parking charges apply and you are purchasing your show tickets through The Ticket Factory, you may have the option of pre-purchasing your car parking ticket in advance at a slightly reduced fee. This is only available on certain shows and at the same time as purchasing your show ticket through The Ticket Factory. (Also see “Shuttle Service” for further information)
Cash Points
Cash points inside and outside the Natwest Bank by Hall 4.
Natwest cash point opposite Hall 8 by Atrium 2 entrance.
There are also four other portable cash machines in the Atrium, there is a charge for using these machines. They are located adjacent to Hall 6 entrance and opposite food to youwhich is located near to Hall 6 entrance, by Concourse Suites 1 & 2 and opposite Hall 18.
